Overview
MEK dissolves vinyl, acrylic, nitrocellulose and polyurethane resins and evaporates quickly, making it valuable in fast-drying coatings, PVC adhesives and inks. It is also used in lube-oil dewaxing and as a cleaning solvent.
It is supplied at ≥ 99.5% purity with low water.
