Water Treatment
The chemistry behind clear drinking water, compliant effluent and scale-free cooling towers — dosed in parts per million, so every batch has to behave like the last one.
A water plant is tuned to its chemicals. Change the basicity of a coagulant or the charge of a flocculant and the operator has to re-run jar tests, re-set dosing pumps and explain the turbidity spike. Cosmo Chemistry manufactures water treatment chemicals for municipal utilities, effluent plants, power stations and desalination operators to a fixed specification and a narrow tolerance, so the next container doses exactly like the last one.
