Overview
Acidic cleaners based on hydrochloric, phosphoric or sulphamic acid are hard to thicken with ordinary polymers. Acid thickeners are surfactants that stay stable at low pH and give the cling that helps the cleaner stay on vertical surfaces.
They are supplied as liquids, dosed at a few percent.
